High-Fashion Hangout

High-Fashion Hangout As kids become tweens and teens, they often like to start expressing their personal style by means of bedroom decor. Have a peek at these hip hangouts and bedrooms to determine the way to help them embrace the color and diverse look they adore. Complex furniture, funky light and wild colors inspired Victoria Sanchez of Victoria Sanchez Interiors to make this adolescent's retreat decked out in Missoni furniture and fabrics. Bold Poster The big framed poster over the bed is the focus of this bedroom, bringing from the only source of bold color. Design: Michael Moeller

Sleek Daybed Daybeds are the best solution for small teen rooms because they double as a spot for sleeping and somewhere to sit with their friends. The sudden color scheme of olive, celery, blue-gray and tangerine, to the smart space planning, makes this design extra pleasure. Design: Brian Patrick Flynn

Camping Cool Vibrant colours in the seats, teepee and bookshelf add youthfulness to the adult aesthetics within this space. The chairs are nothing more than piled cushions up that can be spread out during sleepovers. Layout: Martha Angus and Eche Martinez/Photo: Jason Kisner

Cozy Palette Choosing colors for a teen boy is not always simple, nor is designing an area to grow with him. A soft grey paint three walls and the ceiling of the room create a neutral and cozy retreat, but the cinnamon-colored wall behind the mattress provides a splash of energy. Values of grey out of dark walnut to light grey in the bed and draperies relate to the walls and ceiling, while the chrome accessories and lamps complemented the grays and added a bit of bling.
